心肺復甦法培訓、考核大會 暨 委任生命火花大使典禮

心肺復甦法培訓、考核大會 暨 委任生命火花大使典禮於 2009 年 2 月 7 日在北區醫院完滿舉行。參與及贊助的機構包括北區區議會、北區中學校長會、北區小學校長會、北區醫院、生命火花院前輔助醫療學會，香港聖約翰救傷會，挪度中國有限公司，及飛利浦醫療系統。香港教育局副秘書長葉曾翠卿女士為主禮嘉賓。李家仁醫生及安德尊先生為大會司儀。於救世軍石湖學校醒獅表演及李志達紀念學校武術表演後，大會頒發「推廣心肺復甦法」小學生填色比賽各獎項。
嘉賓吳浩康先生為參與心肺復甦法考核之學員表演及打氣，與12間中學及8間小學的 714 位北區中小學師生及家長，在香港聖約翰救傷會的 92 名講師指導下，同一時間進行心肺復甦法，打破 2008 年的紀錄。大會更委任吳浩康先生及全體學員為「生命火花大使」，及頒發證書。
「延續生存鏈 – 施行心肺復甦法、燃點生命火花」為今次大會的口號。北區已成為全港第一個推動心肺復甦法的社區，現有其他社區仿效，將心肺復甦法推廣至社區及學校。我們希望心肺復甦法的知識、技能及理念，能夠薪火相傳至社區、學校、家庭及社會的每一個角落。
A CPR Training & Assessment cum Appointment of “Spark of Life Ambassadors” Ceremony was successfully held at North District Hospital on 7th February 2009. Participating and sponsoring organisations included the North District Council, North District Secondary School Principals Association, North District Primary School Heads Association, North District Hospital, SPARK of Life, Hong Kong St John Ambulance Association, Laerdal China Ltd. and Philips Medical Systems. The Deputy Secretary of the Education Bureau, Mrs. Betty YIP, was the officiating guest of the ceremony. Dr. David Ka-yan LEE and Mr. Anderson JUNIOR were the masters of ceremony. After the lion dance by Salvation Army Shek Wu School and Chinese martial art performance by Lee Chi Tat Memorial School, awards were presented to winners of the “CPR Promotion Primary School Students Painting Competition”.
Popular singer Mr. Deep Ho Hong NG sang a song for the participants as recognition and encouragement. He performed CPR together with 714 teachers, students and parents from 12 North District secondary schools and 8 primary schools, under the direction and supervision of 92 instructors from the St John Ambulance Association. This broke the year 2008 record for mass CPR in Hong Kong. Mr. NG and all participants were appointed as “Spark of Life Ambassadors” and certificates would be issued to all of them.
The slogan for this ceremony was “Link up the Chain of Survival – perform CPR and kindle the spark of life”. In addition, the North District was the first district in Hong Kong promoting CPR. Currently, there are other districts following and promoting CPR to their schools and community. We hope that the knowledge, skills and concept of CPR can be passed like a torch to communities, schools, families and every corner of the society.
