Taipei Visit (20-23.7.2006)
生命火花共有24名理事及遴選會員參加是次訪問。
A total of 24 council and voting members of SPARK of Life participated in this visit.
在第一天,我們探訪臺北榮民總醫院教研部臨床技術訓練中心,得到國立陽明大學副教務長陳祖裕醫生及中心職員的招待。陳醫生介紹了中心的工作,而理事會主席鍾展鴻醫生也簡單介紹生命火花學會、香港急症醫學的發展及院前急救的培訓。其後我們熱烈地交流。當天晚上還一同共進晚餐。
On the first day, we visited the Taipei Veterans General Hospital Clinical Skills Resources Center, and met Dr. Cho-yu Chan, Associate Dean, Academic affairs, National Yang Ming University, and staff of the centre. Dr. CY Chan gave a presentation on the work of his centre and Dr. CH Chung, Council Chairman, gave a brief introduction on SPARK of Life, the development of emergency medicine and prehospital training in Hong Kong. We had good exchanges afterwards and dinner together in the evening.
第二天早上,我們探訪了臺北市政府消防局救災救護指揮中心。得到救災救護指揮中心的畢幼明主任熱烈歡迎。畢主任介紹臺北市政府消防局的智慧型電腦輔助勤務派遣系統。香港消防處新界南區救護指揮官林偉洪先生亦簡介香港消防處第三代的派遣系統。跟著互送紀念品。其後我們探訪臺北市永吉消防高級救護隊的救護站,見識救護車及救護電單車的最新設備。
In the morning of the second day, we visited the Taipei City Fire Department Emergency Dispatch Center. We were welcomed by Mr. Yow-ming Bih, Director of the dispatch centre. Mr. Bih gave a presentation on the Intelligent Computer Aided Fire Service Dispatch System at Taipei. Mr Wai-hung Lam, Divisional Commander (NT/S), Hong Kong Ambulance Command, gave a short presentation on the Hong Kong Fire Services 3rd Generation Dispatch System. There was an exchange of souvenirs afterwards. We later visited an ambulance depot, and were shown the latest equipment in ambulances and ambulance motorcycles.
當天下午,我們探訪臺灣國立大學醫院的臨床技術訓練中心及急症室。得到臺大醫院急診醫學部主治醫師馬惠明教授接待。我們驚嘆臺北的高科技及其迅速的發展。
In the afternoon, we visited the National Taiwan University Hospital Clinical Skills Resources Center and the Emergency Department. We were received by Prof. Matthew Huei-ming Ma, Assistant Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine & Preventive Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital. We were amazed at the advanced technology and rapid development in Taipei.
這次訪問非常成功,我們與臺灣的伙伴增進互相了解及友誼,希望日後可以加強合作。
The visit was very successful. We gained better mutual understanding and friendship with our Taiwan counterparts, paving the way for a better collaboration in future.
